Chi's mom: SURELY you have something better to do other than molesting my son, go make yourself useful.
me: actually, no. ._.
Chi's mom: alright then, go put the clothes in the drying machine.
Chi: ;o; Kennnnn!
Chi's mom: hurry up, or I'll send you back to Japan!

**so I go outside to put the clothes in the dryer-thing. Of course, Chi's mom isn't thoughful **enough to tell me HOW THE DRYER ACTUALLY IS SUPPOSED TO WORK.
**and then I opened it, and found a finished cycle inside.
me: somebody get me a clothes basket!
Chi's mom: GET IT YOURSELF. you're not a kid.
**-_-;; seriously. she's standing right next to it. GET YOUR BUTT OFF OF THE COMPUTER CHAIR **AND DO IT YOURSELF.
**so I go to pick up the basket.
Chi's mom: STOP DELIBERATELY BUMPING INTO ME
**...I didn't even touch her. ._.

so I unload the stuff that was inside, and put the wet clothes in. and then I look at the 10-or-something knobs. and I go back in.
me: are the previous settings okay for this cycle?
Chi's mom: what? soap?

**'kay. so we were speaking Japanese. settings= settei, soap=sekken. pretty similar. but still
me: SETTINGS.
Chi's mom:I can't hear him. Chi, what is he saying?
Chi: settings.
Chi's mom: (to me) YOU DON'T NEED ANY SOAP FOR THE DRYING MACHINE.
**WTF. is she deaf or something?

And so then I push the start button.It clearly says "push to start". Thank **God.
Then it doesn't START.
So I start pushing it real fast, and then push it once hard (the dryer tilted back O_o) and for about 5 seconds. it STILL doesn't start. So I start pushing it really fast again.
yay for buttons. you want to push them.
...yay.

5 minutes.
my thumb hurts. I need to pee, and the stupid fucking dryer STILL doesn't start. And I've started crying (for some odd reason.)

and then Chi sees me. he turns the far left dial to "cycle" or summat, and pushes the start button. voila.
...HIS MOM SAID THE SETTINGS WERE OKAY.
